Today for manikalani Avie and I were asked to do a project about media and we decided to do a project on real and fake media to see if people actually thought a new animal was discovered. We came up with and hibred of a wolf and a walrus its called a waluolf. Can you tell, what do you think is it real or fake?

Today Claire and I made this video for Manaiakalani  that shows two different sentence styles we chose Simple and a Very Short.

In the last 4 weeks my classmates and I have been creating these games at Tonui collab. We also did Makey Makey, Games, And Challenges. We collaborated while making our game but made one each I really enjoyed making my game and doing all of the different activities that where offered. making this game I found it hard to copy the correct code that was given for my game and make everything not buggy and working.

  

Scratch

                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Today my classmates and I learnt about scratch. We linked our learning from at Mind Lab and tipu witch is a app that teacher you basic maori words and sentences witch my classmates and I use in our school learning. I found it easy to make new sentences and make the answers.I really enjoyed picking my character. Thanks Cleo for doing my voice over.

I found it easy to place the blocks and make different characters.  

I found it hard to make big characters. 

I really enjoyed making different characters. 

Next time I need to make harder characters.

Lockdown Writing

             Is covid- 19 is working in NZ

Stay safe and stay at home was the message that was given to NZ from the Prime Minister when NZ went into lockdown for the first time on Thursday March 26th. I strongly think lockdown is a good Idea because it keeps everyone safe from the virus,and since the lockdown started there has been a decrease of deaths and cases in NZ from covid- 19. although it can have its down sides, it is better for the country.

To date NZ only Has 19 deaths that have been linked to covid- 19. Covid 19 has effected people around the world,nearly every country on the planet has experienced Covid- 19 in some way. NZ has one of the lowest death tolls in the world, All of these deaths have been linked to people over 70.All of this shows that by going into lockdown early that we are on our way to eliminating Covid- 19. And that all of this lockdown has been effective.

The lockdown is working to reduce the number of deaths of Covid19 in NZ. It is obvious with the points i have provided that we have reduced the amount of deaths toll and lowered our Covid 19 cases in our Country. by going into lockdown early there are less cases and death in NZ Covid 19. It is important that we do not leave behind all of our hard work that we have done as a nation and continue to stick to the lockdown restrictions.
