Is covid- 19 is working in NZ
Stay safe and stay at home was the message that was given to NZ from the Prime Minister when NZ went into lockdown for the first time on Thursday March 26th. I strongly think lockdown is a good Idea because it keeps everyone safe from the virus,and since the lockdown started there has been a decrease of deaths and cases in NZ from covid- 19. although it can have its down sides, it is better for the country.
To date NZ only Has 19 deaths that have been linked to covid- 19. Covid 19 has effected people around the world,nearly every country on the planet has experienced Covid- 19 in some way. NZ has one of the lowest death tolls in the world, All of these deaths have been linked to people over 70.All of this shows that by going into lockdown early that we are on our way to eliminating Covid- 19. And that all of this lockdown has been effective.
The lockdown is working to reduce the number of deaths of Covid19 in NZ. It is obvious with the points i have provided that we have reduced the amount of deaths toll and lowered our Covid 19 cases in our Country. by going into lockdown early there are less cases and death in NZ Covid 19. It is important that we do not leave behind all of our hard work that we have done as a nation and continue to stick to the lockdown restrictions.
